Ayres T-piece

The Ayres T-piece is a breathing system used primarily in anesthesia, particularly for pediatric patients, to deliver oxygen or anesthetic gases. It is part of a circuit that helps ventilate patients who are not breathing adequately or who are under anesthesia. The T-piece is often employed in neonatal and pediatric care due to its low resistance and suitability for smaller lung capacities.
